Both are seasonal, open roughly October to April. Miracle Garden holds the record for the world’s largest flower garden with 150 million blooms; Global Village has around 90 country pavilions. Do the garden in the morning, the village in the evening.
Dubai Miracle Garden and Global Village are the city’s two great seasonal attractions, both open only during the cooler months from roughly October to April. One is the world’s largest flower garden; the other is a sprawling cultural park with pavilions from around 90 countries.
This guide covers both attractions, their seasons and timings, what to expect, how to visit them together and practical tips.
Why Both Are Seasonal
Neither attraction operates through Dubai’s summer. The heat makes outdoor flower displays impossible to maintain and open-air pavilions uncomfortable, so both close around late April and reopen in October or November.
That makes the cooler months the only window to see them, and it is worth planning your trip around if either is a priority. Browse current entries in our Dubai tickets and activities guide.
Dubai Miracle Garden
Miracle Garden holds the Guinness World Record as the largest natural flower garden, with over 150 million blooms arranged into sculptures, arches, hearts and full-scale structures. The scale is genuinely hard to convey in photographs.
What to see
- Floral Airbus A380 — the world’s largest flower arrangement
- Heart passage and floral arches — the most photographed spots
- Disney and character displays in dedicated zones
- Butterfly Garden next door, a separate ticketed attraction
- Windmill and castle structures covered entirely in blooms
Allow two to three hours. Mornings are cooler and far better for photography before the crowds build.

Global Village
Global Village is part cultural festival, part shopping bazaar, part funfair. Around 90 country pavilions sell food, crafts and goods, alongside a fairground, stage shows and nightly fireworks.
What to expect
It is large, busy and best treated as an evening out rather than a quick visit. Come hungry — the street food across the pavilions is the highlight for most visitors.
Allow three to four hours minimum. Weekends are extremely busy; Sunday to Wednesday evenings are far more comfortable.

Visiting Both in One Day
The two work well as a single day because their best times differ. Do Miracle Garden in the morning when it is cool and quiet, rest through the afternoon, then head to Global Village for the evening.
They sit relatively close together on the Dubai–Al Ain side of the city, making the pairing practical. A guided day handles transport and timing — see our Dubai day tour packages.

If You Only Have Time for One
Choose Miracle Garden if you want photographs and a shorter, calmer visit. It is visually spectacular and you can cover it properly in a couple of hours.
Choose Global Village if you want an evening out with food, shopping and entertainment, or if you are travelling with teenagers. It is the livelier of the two and better value for a full evening.
The Bottom Line
Both are genuinely worth seeing, and both are only available roughly October to April. If your trip falls in that window, build them in — there is nothing comparable in the summer months.
Do Miracle Garden in the morning and Global Village after dark, book tickets ahead, and avoid weekend evenings if you can.
